Had an awesome stay at Kusatsu Onsen Futabaya! Super close to Yubatake, and the private onsens were a nice touch. The staff were incredibly helpful with our luggage, which was appreciated. Just a heads up, the road to the hotel is pretty narrow!

Great location with easy access to Yubatake.
The internet connection was frustratingly unreliable, making it difficult to stay in touch. I also found the room uncomfortably cold despite maxing out the heating, which was quite disappointing. Additionally, the sulfur smell from the hot springs permeated the room and was an unpleasant surprise.

We really enjoyed our cozy family room with heated blankets, perfect for our snowy visit! The hotel's location was ideal, centrally located between the bus station and yubatake. Our stay also included a visit to Kusatsu International Ski Place, which was a blast for the whole family!
My wife says that a vending machine would be helpful.

It was just a balanced option for a flash stay in Kusatsu with good price value. I really appreciated the owners' friendliness. they went out of their way to make us feel welcomed. Make sure to park at the public car park and walk to the hotel. it saves a lot of hassle on narrow roads.

The Quadruple Room was super comfy with cozy bedding and a nice electric blanket that kept us warm during the chilly nights. It had a good amount of space, and the staff was really accommodating, even adjusting our windshield wipers during the snow. Only downside was the hot water took a while to come, but they have a sign to warn you. Overall, a very pleasant stay!

Family with children cozy stay
We had this huge triple room, really spacious for us. The heated blankets on the beds made the chilly nights much more bearable. And don’t forget the free morning coffee, that was surprisingly good!
It wasn't exactly affordable, but the experience was worth it.
